Do you say hello or respect their privacy and not approach?
I saw my doc but did not approach her as she seemed to want privacy - was sitting in a corner table enjoying coffee and reading a paper. I decided I'd respect that - we have a wonderful professional relationship but I thought it would be better not to go up to her and speak. What do you gals think? Would you say hi? I didn't want to appear unfriendly but doctors probably run into patients all the time and it must get a bit tiring after a while. I was also with a group of friends for a lunch date.
