Wow, Noel! I wish we had your summer. I just cannot stand the heat at all and our summers are so long and hot now. We are starting to get slight cooling (40s at night and maybe mid 80s for the high) in the last several days. Still too hot for me, but I'm just anxiously awaiting winter!

I'm sorry you have to endure 80 degrees during the days, I couldn't take it, either. Thank goodness you drop to the 40s at night so you can sleep.

I can't remember having a one day heat wave before, but that's what it was, with two nights of heat. 86 yesterday in our micro climate, 82 in other parts of the city. They predicted a 17 degree drop today, right now we are at 66 degrees.

I hope your area cools off soon

Hey Noel! I don't know what the heck. It's almost 100 out there right now. blech! For a few days it was looking promising and it will be back. We even had lows in the 40s. When I got up, for a couple of days, at 7:30, it was 42 degrees out there. Now, that's my kind of temperature!

I really miss the old days here when it would be cold or really cold for 6 months out of the year.
