Re: Yikes ! Bad storm in Minn.

We received two feet of snow here in UT yesterday.  I'm snowed in.  My snowblower couldn't handle it and I can't shovel so I'll have to hire someone today to shovel me out.

Two feet and then the snow plow went down the street and threw more into my driveway.  Can't get my gate open.  It's sunny today but another storm is moving in.

Thankful not to live there anymore, just talked to friend who just got plowed out, been waiting for hours.

@Jacie

The way they were promoting this storm I thought we were in danger of being buried alive. The Governor had the National Guard on standby, many parking lots in Minneapolis and St. Paul are offering free of charge parking and I have never seen so many companies close or have abbreviated hours of operation.

I can only speak for my streets and sidewalks that are being plowed 24/7, it almost felt like much ado about nothing. But I only speak from my city viewpoint. I am sure outliers would tell a completely different story.

But, yes, you are lucky to have moved to your little piece of nirvana!
