Yet another iPad question

I bought one today. Not sure I'll keep it but will use it for 13 days and decide whether to return on day 14.

My netbook died about a month ago and while I prefer a netbook I'm not willing to give them another try as mine died within 17 months of purchase

Now, for my question. Those of you who bought or own an iPad , did you buy the extended warranty? I don't know about Apple products. I do know I wish I'd bought one for my netbook.
