What do you hear?

Oddly enough, the first time I heard it said, I heard "Yanny."  But each time after that I heard "Laurel."

I heard Laurel. My husband heard Yanny. I don't understand how anyone could think it was Yanrny.

We listened several times, each time he INSIStED he heard Yanny? I don't understand how he heard that.

I mean, when we went to bed, I was laying there wondering how he did his job if his hearing was so screwed up.

Well, since I've heard both I guess I can understand both sides.

One thing I read said that if you change the frequencies of the recording, you will be able to hear the one you weren't able to hear before.

So I guess we don't all hear things the same way.

Today I heard Yanny and then it switched Laurel half way through....

I hear Yanny, but when they bring the pitch up 30%, I hear Laurel.

@Q4u  I thought it was just me who heard both.  I have some inner ear issues, so I thought maybe that was why.  Or maybe my connection slowed the playback the first time it was said and then caught up to normal speed.

I guess there may be more to it than that.

on TV I heard yanny and when I heard it on the radio I heard laurel.   Someone said it's the frequency you're hearing,I think that's it.

I hear Laurel.  Makes you wonder about conversations where you know you said one thing, and the other person in the conversation thinks you said something else!  Or about those we say have "Selective Hearing" !  LOL
