I just wish one of them would lose the whole 'conversation' thing and permit me to decide if I want that option of if I prefer old fashioned 'individual' emails that aren't amalgamated into a 'conversation'. Gmail is probably better than Yahoo at this point, but there are definitely things about it I don't like in its latest incarnation. I never really liked Outlook until the 'free' email providers decided to get so fancy and try to out-do each other. Outlook Express was my favorite choice for email, but it was tied to the internet provider, which has its own down side. Hotmail was a nightmare and MSN was about the same, though I haven't tried either of them in a long time.

Stevieb, I have "old fashioned individual emails" on my Yahoo account. I didn't like the "conversation" thing either, and opted out when it first started appearing that way. I wish I could tell you exactly what I did, but I don't remember. I think I must have gone to a Yahoo Help page. Anyway, I un-clicked that option, and Voila! my email reverted to the old style set up of individual emails.
