Constance is dying, Sage calls Adam to come. While she's waiting for Adam to arrive, Sage is looking at the will. Adam arrives, pretends to be Gabriel, holds Constance's hand.

Constance has a vision of the tunnel of light, the afterlife, and sees the real Gabriel in spirit form calling her to come. Constance opens her eyes and looks at Adam and says "you're not Gabriel". He says "yes I am", and she says "no you're not". Sage says, "Constance I knew you couldn't bear to lose Gabriel". Constance dies.

Then Sage shows Gabriel the will. And apparently there's some fine print indicating that Sage is Gabriel's wife and, as his wife, Gabriel and Sage share the inheritance of Constance's estate.

Adam looks stunned.

Personally, I wish they'd have kept old Constance around for a while... I know the soaps have gotten to be all about the younger contingent (which might explain why there are so few of them left...) but I think the old girl could've done some serious pot stirring... Besides, as discussed, SO many of the kiddies on Y&R are totally boring...

Well, who saw that coming, lol. But they aren't really married because Adam is not Gabriel and he's already married to Chelsea. The plot thickens. Now how is Adam/Gabriel gonna get out of this and get close to Chelsea at the same time. Good SL.

Doubt if the marriage would be legal either. Him not knowing his right from his left. Who would come to the house and marry the 2 of them under those circumstances. Bet Mitchell Sherman could blow that out of the water in a N.Y. minute.

I think Courtney won't be a cop for much longer either. She's already setting her cap to marry into the rich Newmans. Summer, will help her on that.

Tasteless Gloria and especially her tacky husband, Jeffrey, will make it rough on poor Michael now wait and see. Can you imagine what Jeffrey will say ? I cringe to think about it. Shoot, Jeffrey has 20 yrs. on Michael he should have the same to worry about.

Gloria cracked me up when she asked Lauren if she was in perimenopause. Then, said if she was she had some crème that would help her out. LOL

I know he doesn't want Gloria hovering but Michael should have just told her. Gee, she's really good at guessing (sure, lol). They might as well drop Jeffery from the show, unless he needs the money. I think he's still sick, though.

So now we know why Sage enabled Adam to become Gabriel. She knew Constance was dying and she wanted to be in that will. She probably had been working on marrying the real Gabriel when he died. What she did, marrying Adam when he was unaware of anything was grossly illegal and immoral and won't hold up in court. This marriage is illegal on so many levels. What minister or justice of the peace would do such a thing. Only in soap land could this stuff happen. After the dust settles, I wonder who legally should inherit Constance's estate since her son is dead.

Gabriel is her grandson. Her son killed himself. I'd say it would go to her sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews, etc. but, Adam and Sage will blow it. course, then , the State would come in and claim it for themselves. If I had all that money I would have left it to good causes.

She blames Victor for killing her son. Some bad business deal. Victor acknowledged the Bingham name the other day. You can bet he's thinking on it. LOL Then he will figure out the whole Bingham saga, man he sc r ewed over is dead and all of a sudden his son pops up in good ol' G City. Then, between that and Nick knowing where they lived, etc. story will unfold as long as they don't put Paul on the job. LOL

I wanted Nick and Sage to get with it and get Sharho out of his blood. Ol' Sage plays her cards right she can have money coming and going with either Nick or making Adam pay her off to get rid of her. No wonder poor Constance died they all ran off and left her to fend for herself. Guess Sage thought of that too. Big ol house out in the boonies only one who knew where they were was the IRS. LOL

That's right, Gabriel is the grandson. I remember the other day Victor was saying, Bingham over and over. What do you wanna bet, though, that he doesn't remember who it is right away. Victor has s*cre wed over so many people. Did he even know that the guy killed himself let along care....doubt it. I just don't understand why Victor would do something to hurt Nikki's son.

Maybe he wants him to leave (yay) and Avery. He never wanted Dylan in Nicki's will and speaking of that how was Victor able to change another persons will? Never forget that. LOL

My first guess is it's about getting rid of Nick's coffee house , so, Nick can come back into the Newman fold. Nick just owns and has his kids to run his business he really isn't doing anything.
