One of the guys on the Y&R discussion group I'm on works for a CBS affiliate & gives us the heads up on the holiday & sports preemptions based on the info that CBS tells the local affiliate stations & he said Y&R will air & they'll be NEW episodes on Christmas Eve & Christmas Day & New Years Eve & Day & not "classic" episodes.

(This may differ in some areas, I suppose, so don't sue me if it's not correct for your local CBS affiliate!)

Tues. show

Adam fears being exposed, Paul grills Joe, and Nikki meets Maureen.

In the woods, Nick looks at Adam and says, "You." Adam asks Sage, "What have you done?" He wants to leave - someone else will find him. Sage realizes Adam knows him. Adam admits Nick's his brother. They argue. Sage reminds him about being less selfish. They release Nick's leg and Adam takes off. Sage reassures Nick and follows Adam back to Constance's house. Adam is worried about Nick being so close. Sage thinks it's a coincidence. Adam says the sooner the ambulance takes him, the better they are. He flashes to Nick telling him he'll always be outside looking in. Sage rejoins Nick, who asks who she is as the ambulance approaches. Sage dashes away.

At Crimson Lights, Avery shouts at Dylan not to go out there after a brick comes through the window. He goes. (Of course he does !)

At the penthouse, Chelsea can't work. She hollers to Amanda that she's going out.

At the Club bar, Paul tells Ben the department has been pressured by Victor to arrest Maureen for locking Victoria in the closet. Ben has no information, but knows she didn't mean to hurt Victoria. She even tried to tell him on the way to surgery. Paul knows he covered for her before and says they have to prove she killed his father to right the wrongs. Paul gets a call from Avery and goes. Chelsea joins Ben and orders a drink. They discuss the paternity results and whether Billy and Victoria will reunite. Ben saw the look they shared today. "I don't stand a chance and neither do you." They debate. Chelsea tells him she tried to pay Jeff to back off. She assures him she'll see to it that Billy's not available to Victoria. They toast.

At home, Victoria hands Katie to Billy, who talks to the baby about the unique house. Nikki and Victor arrive. Victor wonders why Billy's holding his granddaughter. Victoria tells him to get used to it; Billy is Katherine's father. Nikki wants to celebrate the new member of the family. Billy remarks that she's a new member of the Abbott family as well. Nikki and Vikki take Katie upstairs. Billy thinks even Victor must be happy that he's the father rather than a murderer. Victor realizes he hasn't heard and tells him Ben's a hero. Billy thinks it's idiotic that Ben gave up half his life. Victor snarks that he knows nothing about honor. They argue. Victor says he can't compare to Stitch. Victoria and Nikki return - Nikki will stay to help out. Nikki gets a call from Maureen. Nikki can't believe her nerve. Maureen asks her to come to Chancellor Park. Nikki announces she forgot a charity meeting and leaves. Billy goes upstairs and Victor tells Victoria the name on the baby's birth certificate is Newman - as it should be. Victoria says Billy's a good father. Victor worries she's softening towards him and says Ben's more worthy of her. Later, Victoria and Billy discuss Victor. Billy says he got to him until he looked at the baby.

At Crimson Lights, Paul joins Avery and Dylan comes in. He thinks the brick was thrown by kids. Avery worries this could affect her case to save the place. Dylan reassures them he'll get security cameras. Paul makes a call about Joe. Later, Avery bickers with Dylan about going after the person who did this. Talk turns to Nick. Avery's concerned he missed their conference call and hasn't returned her messages.

Paul finds Joe at the Club and grills him on his recent whereabouts. Joe is sorry to hear about the brick incident. Paul muses about a connection with the development. Joe denies it. Later, Victor joins Ben and urges him to get over to Victoria's house to prevent her from making a big mistake.

In the park, Maureen flashes to locking up Victoria. Nikki appears. Why shouldn't she call the police? Maureen says the baby is reason enough. Nikki says the baby is Billy's. Maureen is upset and talks about turning herself in - she hates who she's become. Nikki thinks she and her family have paid enough. Nikki gives her cash - enough to change her life. Maureen vows to use the money for positive change. They wish each other well.

At Crimson Lights, Paul offers to help clean up, but Dylan wants him to help take a real stand with a big demonstration. Paul cautions him about playing into the developer's hands.

Avery finds Joe in her office, who complains to her about Paul interrogating him. Avery hollers that it makes sense. Joe says she clearly doesn't know him at all.

Chelsea arrives on Victoria's doorstep with a sketch of a christening gown for Katie. Billy and Victoria both appreciate it.

Oh boy...aren't Jeffery and Maureen perfect for each other! If he gets too greedy and insists on more than his share of the pie, she's already "offed" one husband...
