Yep, sure isn't ! You would think he would have one other person manning the place. If he can afford to advertise on Amarillo Tv stations he should be able to pay somebody to cover for him. Talk about irresponsible ! He's gonna hear from me when/if I go back. Only reason Rick might take me back is because my b'day is the 23rd and Xmas and all.

Wonder where Panda is? I'm getting concerned about her. Wonder if she's had a relapse. Not like her to not post more often. If people don't post frequent I think the worst . LOL

Avery shares her news, Dylan encourages Sharon, and Kelly runs into Jack.

At the Abbott house, Avery tells Phyllis and Jack she's engaged. Phyllis doesn't react. Jack congratulates her. Avery says there won't be a big announcement and Phyllis wonders why not. Avery doesn't want to steal their thunder. Phyllis questions Avery being apologetic about being engaged - she's very happy for her. Avery seems slightly surprised as they hug. Jack leaves. Phyllis fishes for information on Nick's custody suit and offers to testify against Sharon. Avery takes off. Later, Jack returns and compliments how Phyllis handled Avery. Phyllis is offended; it shouldn't be a feat for her not to freak out on someone. They talk about Kelly. Phyllis warns she'll protect their relationship.

At the Club, Joe and Kelly plan his development party. Lily points out a few drinks won't change anyone's mind. Joe observes that she's genuinely upset by it and offers to move the event. Lily says the GCAC will hold the event. Joe wants to prove he's one of the good guys. After, Lily complains to Kelly that Joe is always 'on'; working it. She feels slimy after being around him. Kelly agrees - she hates the guys who ooze charm. They discuss Phyllis pushing her buttons. Kelly says she wanted her to hurt too.

At Crimson Lights, Dylan reminds Sharon they're friends. He encourages her to fight for what she wants. Sharon cautions him about being seen giving her a pep talk. Dylan isn't concerned. He suggests she and Nick use a mediator. Sharon says Nick wouldn't do it, and her lawyer wants her to fight dirty. They talk about Victor's pull. Sharon mentions Phyllis firing her. Dylan urges her to go to Jabot and get her job back. Sharon says Jack's a decent guy, but she hurt him. Dylan thinks she needs this. "Do it for Faith." On the patio, Neil tells Hilary he's good. "Why wouldn't I be?" Devon appears. Neil senses his presence. Devon is surprised. Neil talks about what a great catch Hilary is and tells Devon to stick with him, he'll show him how to land the right woman. After Neil heads to the Club, Hilary makes it clear she's upset about Gwen. Devon reminds her how it feels for him to see her with Neil. He doesn't know what else they can do. They decide to get out of there.

At home, Lauren's been up all night researching prostate cancer treatments and how it affects families. Michael is concerned about telling Fen he's sick. Lauren is worried about him pretending. She gets ready to go to the doctor and is glad they're facing this together. Later, they return with an overwhelming amount of information to go over. Michael is tightly wound and wants a second opinion. When he says he's going to work, Lauren pressures him to take the morning off and commit to treatment. Michael snaps at her about the side effects - he may not be able to be a real husband anymore. Lauren says that's not all they are; she needs him. They all need him. Michael doesn't want to become a 'thing' she looks after. Lauren vows to stand by him. He says she didn't last time.

Joe enters Avery's office and talks cute about the thing she does with her eyebrow. He tells her she's making a mistake marrying Dylan McAvoy. They bicker. Joe says the ring doesn't represent an eternal bond between her and Dylan, it's about him. Avery marvels at his ego. What she's built with Dylan has nothing to do with him. Dylan enters as he exits. Avery tells Dylan that Joe feels he's the reason he proposed. She can't figure out what he's up to.

In the Club office, Lily tells Neil she's concerned that he's not talking to them and might start drinking again. Neil admits he's felt tempted. Lily is glad he told the truth and reminds him how many people love him. Lily gives him Braille books to read to Moses. Neil admits he hasn't done well with Braille. Lily falls asleep on his shoulder as he tries to read. Downstairs, Kelly runs into Jack, who tries to explain Phyllis to her. Kelly says all that time asleep did was give her an excuse to be a bigger b**** than she was before. Jack feels she's being cruel. Kelly mocks not living up to his standards. Jack tells her to be mad at him. She says Phyllis is a bully and she will not back down and be her victim.

At Jabot, Sharon tells Phyllis she came to see Jack. Phyllis advises her to get a grip. "He will never, ever, side with you over me." They argue. Sharon tells her to take a good look at herself before she comes after her.

yeah, she posted back in the older thread I think last Sat. think she said she was going back to school Mon. Just unusual she hasn't posted in. Guess I'd better say something about Dylan and that will bring her in LOL

Thanks for the updates Sharke! DH & I are going out of town Wednesday and I'll miss the show Wed. & Thursday...so I have it set for DVR but who knows if the satellite/weather will cooperate? I had been working since late September and there's so many SLs (and new actors) that I'm trying to catch up on.

DH saw the new Adam the other day and screamed, "He was on Super Natural - what is his name??? " !!! He went through and clicked on the cast...it still had Phyllis's son Daniel (Grazeidi, sp?) listed, so I told him the list was like 3 years old, forget it. He made me rewind the show and, lo and behold, I froze it when the guy's name came up (next to Adam Newman). I don't know what everyone else thinks, but to me NuAdam is awful...and DH got into a mini-argument with me about the actor (who he claims was great, on his show). I simply told him (DH) that the new guy is NOT a "great actor", he's not playing Adam the way ADAM was/should be played (MM never played Adam as a clueless wuss, everything was calculated and thought out), and the new guy is much WORSE, in a recast role, than the Billy Abbott (Billy Miller's) replacement -- A major UGGGGHHHHH for me!

I'm still on the fence about Nu adam. He does resemble MM, but, that's gonna be a hard act to follow. MM , could turn on the evil when he wanted too. The show was always at it's best when we had a psychotic running amuck . Sheila Carter, Patty Williams, Daisy, Ricky. Adam dressing up as a dead woman and spooking people LOL Those were the days !

Oh wow ..... I saw him in the grocery store a couple years ago .... astounding blue eyes ..... handsome guy!
