Xfinity Comcast was hacked. 37 million customers.

I don't have them but hopefully they will offer free credit monitoring for those affected.

I believe this happened in October and it is just coming out now, at least

that's what I heard locally. We just got Comcast last week so I am not

concerned but hope it doesn't happen again, at least anytime soon.

We have Comcast forTV, internet and my land line, not had any issues.

"A security breach at Comcast-owned Xfinity has exposed the personal data of nearly all the internet provider's customers, including account usernames, passwords and answers to their security questions." Quote from CBS News online

Names, contact information, account usernames and passwords, birthdates, parts of their Social Security numbers and answers to their security questions.

Glad I found out about it here.  I wonder when they plan on notifying it's customers?

I have checked my email...I guess next I will go to the Xfinity site. But I have had no emails alerting me of this breach.

I have Comcast/Xfinity.  When I signed to my account  online to pay my bill I had to change my password.

So far no word from XF, so we are sitting tight. But, just a few days ago I was asked to change my password for security reasons.

We have had Comcast/Xfinity for ages, but we do not have an online account, so I suppose we are okay.
