I was looking on the facebook X Factor page...went to the discussions tab and saw the topic Tips for auditions. It was posted by Fox XFactor so seems legite. They said awesome singers will not get through...they suggest to sing horrible and make up a sob story to get through the initial audition....then keep singing bad and talking a lot about the sob story and then when you get infront of the judges sing your best. I always wondered if that is what needs to be done, as so many people complain about bad singers getting through on the initial auditions. But really who wants to go humiliate themselves like that? Most people showing up want to sing their best. Why must it be like this? Why not look for the best singers and not the worst? They make it seem people lie their way in and other singers who are awesome singer are already picked to be infront of the judges ahead of time.
