Really heavy rains in Atlanta and 40 degrees. Apparently this is the same weather we’re going to get the entire week.  Wretched. 

I don’t have to go anywhere today, but tomorrow I have to go out and make several stops. I’d rather get in bed and pull the covers over my head. 

I absolutely freeze all winter long, every winter. Between the cold and the never ending gloom, it gets to me after awhile. I absolutely hate winter.

It could be worse.....think of the poor folks out in California....  Some won't even have a bed to sleep in......or even a house when they get back to where they were living.

I was up and out early for my annual mammogram.   Also filled my gas tank, and got home just before the rain started here in WV.  

The heaviest rain is coming tonight and then turning to snow showers for the next 2 days.   Our highest temperature on Saturday was 29 degrees; we are at 39 today.    

Am not ready for it to be this cool, or deal with snow.

@RedTop I'm just curious based on your weather, do you mind sharing what part of W. Va. you live in? I've been through the state a number of times and visited a few different locations but don't have a real working knowlege of the state.

@ShowMe- it absolutely could be worse, could always be worse. I really was just doing a little good natured griping. It’s just that I stay so cold,  I have thyroid issues, but my levels are good and my doctor can’t figure out why I’m so unnaturally cold in the winter.

I bet all those in California would find your "wretched" weather a blessing.  We have snow on the ground and I wish I could send them some.  One man's trash is another man's treasure.
