I just watched a bald eagle dive into the lake and come out with a beautiful bass , then fly directly toward my house with it, and up over the lanai. Often they will stop on someones roof to reposition the fish or get a better grip on it so they can get it high up into the tree tops where they nest.It was awesome to watch .

It was about 70 here today -we are supposed to have a couple warm days then goto more seasonal low 70's for a while. one of our friends who lives down the street is in Ohio for the holidays and they can't wait to come back. -7 is so awfully cold - what a terrible winter you all are having! It has been more rainy and overcast here than i can ever remember it being but the temperatures are holding so far. sometime we will be threatened with a possible frost and have to bring all our potted plants into the garage. Goodday -two thumbs up on that one.
