Exactly. Op was the most aggressive in trashing the system. Poor Terrier was trying to offer her professional expertise but couldn't get through for all the "opinions".

Terrier was great!! It was helpful to me.

On the other thread (and if we talk too much about it we'll get this thread poofed) nearly everyone offered facts mixed with opinions. Unfortunately, it was leaning toward a "take one side or the other" instead of everyone welcoming everyone's views, in my opinion. As I said in one of my 2 posts on the thread, we can't discuss some of these issues because they become too politicized and too partisan. We all probably can agree the threads always end up with a big split down the middle, with 2 clear "sides." And then it's over.

I know a lot about this subject from experience and research, but Terrier has been trained in it, so when she posts something factual, I usually believe it. If I had any doubt in what she posts, I would have to research it thoroughly before posting to dispute it.

I offered my opinion based on 30+ years as an actuary. Terrier offered her advice based on her recent training. We both stated that anyone with questions/concerns should have a consult with an insurance professional in their state. chum
