We are supposed to have really bad storms this afternoon here on my part of Texas. I even took down my St. Patrick's Day deco. on the porch since the wind was so bad all day yesterday. I am ready to have the pollen washed away for few hours at least.

Yeah, yesterday about 4pm we had about 45 minutes of heavy sprinkling, not real rain. I was outside and didn't bother going in. Was supposed to have rained again early this morning but I don't see any sign of it.
Mountains are supposed to get some good snow though. The rest of us are in extreme drought with no precip since last fall.

I got a little over ½ in. Slow and steady, no wind.

@Desertdi I heard Phoenix was under a flood watch yesterday. You must have felt like you died and went to heaven.

@Kachina624 The Salt River Project sorta "explained" that some upstream dam was opened to allow excess snow melt flow. di

@SharkE Oh, iif only. We are getting rain here, but it will turn into snow and another mess in sight. In Minnesota, we've had eighty (80!) inches so far this winter.

It's coming my way!! South Central Texas is also experiencing severe drought and really needs steady rain but we'll take what we can get.
