Amazon is AMAZING!!!...super fast delivery! With Prime I get my order within two days minimum...sometimes the very next day! Zappos is good like that too!

We don't have any kind of shipping service here that delivers on Sundays, but many has been the time that I ordered something from Amazon on a Sunday and received it on Monday.

They are definitely the model that others could follow, but won't.

i have been shopping with Amazon for years and i love it!! it was one of the first places i bought from online and the shipping has ALWAYS been very quickly when it is coming directly from amazon/their warehouse. approves sellers that i have bought from sometimes are a much different story.

i have not had anything delivered on a Sunday yet but it is so nice to know that can and will be done when needed.

My order was placed on Friday and delivered today (Sunday) around 9:30 AM via USPS. I didn't ask for any kind of expedited shipping. Just Amazon's great delivery….on items shipped from their warehouse.

Thanks to all, but many of the items I order from Amazon are 'fulfilled by Amazon' and I still don't find shipping and receipt of items is consistently fast... I'm aware that 3rd parties can be slower, but overall haven't found them markedly so. I'm glad others have had better experiences, and believe me, it hasn't been dreadful, I just haven't always experienced the speed others have. No, I don't have Prime. Not paying extra, as more times than not, I'm not in a huge hurry, I was merely commenting on my Amazon experiences... I do like shopping Amazon for the vast array of products.

That's smart to be a customer of theirs. 8)

Prime also offers streaming video and radio, great "Amazon Originals" TV series (like the ground-breaking & superb "Transparent"), and a free monthly Kindle e-book with no due date, that's from their vast lending library.

Plus, others in your family can be added to your membership at no extra charge.

There are "Amazon Student" and "Amazon Mom" memberships available as well.

Just an FYI in case you weren't aware, and could possibly use and enjoy those services.

Oh, for sure! I get the 30# bags of Wellness for Ru and I cannot lift that much. If it's my usual UPS guy he makes sure I'm there to let him in and he puts it inside my house for me. He has offered to carry it wherever, but I always just leave it in the tile entryway until I'm ready to deal with it. Then I put a moving blanket down, slide the box onto that, and then just pull the moving blanket through the house. Works great! Smiley Happy

I have one coming tomorrow and I haven't seen my regular UPS guy lately, so I fear I'll have to deal with it if I don't see him arrive. Fortunately, they have all been nice and as long as I'm there before they do a 'hit n run' they are happy to just set it inside my front door for me.

I have prime and order a lot from Amazon. The shipping time is great...BUT... I have received so many wrong items and also had 3 orders shipped to the wrong addresses - one of which was an address that I had sent a gift item to 4 years ago and had deleted!! They promptly made all of this right but it still shouldn't be happening!!

Wow... in the 9 years I've been with them - the last Prime - that's never happened.

In case you haven't already, you should double-check your addresses (billing, shipping, & gift) online under your account.

You can also -email, live chat, or call them to confirm that everything's as it's supposed to be.

I also hope you know that UPS, Fed EX, and the USPS can occasionally mess up too; they're only human beings after all.

We all make mistakes, like errors and typos when entering our addresses on Amazon. Smiley Wink

I wish the Q would come up with a program like Prime.

Don't think they ever will, as they seem to put the customer second.
