Such as that happens around here frequently.

Have been on the highway and have reported drivers license plate # to the local State Police for exceeding speed limit & driving erratically racing in & out of cars. I've also reported motorcycle drivers who also were driving negligently .

I wouldn't. You just don't know what information people may have and how they may retaliate against you. Nothing is private.

Yes, I would. I would report anyone who is doing something wrong and harming others or potentially a harm to others as reckless drivers are.

Years ago, I reported a school bus driver who was taking children home from a camp that my daughter attended for several years. I drove directly to the camp and asked to see the manager and spoke to him. My daughter is in her 40's now so it was a long time ago. She was not with me that day. The manager thanked me, I did not send her the following summer.

You'd spend your entire rush-hour drive on the phone calling the police...if you were in Phoenix... 100 mph is NOT unusual on the freeway here...

I would report a reckless or speeding driver in real time. I wouldn't report it three days later. What would be the point? Actually, it's kind of silly. The police can't do anything based on what someone claims happened and a license plate number. But, I definitely would have used my cell phone to report the incident as it was happening.

Last week, I did call on a truck driver that had the Only handicap ramp blocked. There was a number on the truck, hows my driving. I was going to let it go, but the truck was there before AND after my dads appt. (Over an hour). I was lucky he could walk around the truck, he has a rollalator, but someone in a wheelchair couldn't get around. It was in front of a big medical building. Rude! And there for an hour, it wasn't 5 minutes.

Hearsay doesn't apply in this instance.
