Would you have said something?

A family member of mine went shopping with me yesterday. Like me, she has large thighs. Well, I noticed she was walking funny and then I realized she kept pulling down her shorts in the middle because they would creep up as she walked. I felt bad for her because she looked silly walking like she was really uncomfortable.

Would you have given her polite advice on a better fitting short, dropped hints or just left it alone? I just left it alone because I figured she already knew and wants to wear shorts like that.
