Would you be a participant in a hypnotists show if you had the chance?

I can tonight if I want to. I really want to bad, but I'm kind of scared. LOL

This guy is a pro. He asked me why I was hesitant. I told him if I wasn't "under" should I fake it? He said no, he would be able to tell. Some people can't be hypnotized. He would just say "This woman can't be hypnotized" and he'd ask for another volunteer. There would be several people on stage, not just me.

Would you do it? I can't decide.

Probably not, it would be interesting to watch the show but I would not want to be a participant. How do they choose them in advance?

I dated one a few times who used to do local shows, but I never participated in the shows. He was too weird for me. I read that he died several years ago, and he was a lot younger than me. Made me wonder what he died of.

Go for it.

mr henny and I were hypnotized in order to quit smoking. we were in a group of about fifty people. I thought it was probably just a hocus pocus thing, but it worked.

Tell the fellow that you are a willing candidate. ask him to give you a post hypnotic suggestion. Ie, not eathing too many junk foods, not being stressed by little things, doing a little exercise everyday. Nothing major, just a little thing. agree on it ahead of time.

Do you trust this person? I would never do it with someone I don't trust. Of course, it will be televised so that is your protection.... have you seen any of his past sessions? the ones he has done on tv?

Sure, why not? I have been a guinea pig for several human sports exercise physiology studies so this might be interesting for me.

No. I've seen numerous shows where the participant is told to do something strange and then they're laughed at. I don't like that when it happens to anyone.

That, and the fact that hypnosis doesn't work on me, I've tried it twice and it's a no go.
