my best gf doesn't need to announce it. When I see her take a menu and start fanning herself I knew. She's in her mid forties. early onset i guess.

I give her credit for announcing it on TV. Women are shamed by normal functions like menopause, so perhaps she was able to touch one woman's life and help her feel better about it.
