[Love my grandkids]

Hands down, a personal chef who would cater to all my likes and dislikes. Never try to serve me lima beans or cauliflower or you're fired!!

I like doing both, but I'd take a chef (then I could cook/bake what and when I'd like). I was fortunate to have cleaning help in the past, and she typically came while I was at work. On the occasions she came and I was off work, I'd end up helping. For whatever reason, I felt uncomfortable with her cleaning and not contributing. I was probably one of her favorite clients, ha ha!

In reality, neither. I would not trust anyone in my home doing those things. 

If I didn’t have those issues, I would want a maid. I don’t enjoy cooking but I am a good cook. I enjoy the food I cook.  A maid’s work is never done...it just goes on forever. The only reward for cleaning is that you get to clean everything all over again immediately.

Could I get half of each, one day a maid comes in, the next day a chef comes in?

Of course the chef would make enough for next day leftovers, when the maid is in......ideal.
