Re: Would You Prefer A Maid or Personal Chef?

Neither!  I say that as an introvert, don't want any nonfriends/family in my house for any length of time.

If I weren't an introvert, definitely a personal chef.  My housekeeping skills are far superior to my cooking skills.

@CrazyKittyLvr2  Easy choice for me--definitely a maid to keep things tidy.

I enjoy cooking so I wouldn't relinquish that.  I even enjoy the prep part, cleaning up, and hand washing the dishes.

I would definitely be a maid for me.  I hate to clean - boring!

Neitiher.  I want a butler.  I want Mr. Carson.  Answer the phone, get the groceries, answer the door, tidy up and organize things for me.

Oversee the details and the house.  Oversee the lawn guys.  Call the plumber, and deal with the phone.   Be mean to people on my behalf.  Bring me tea or a soda.

AND he could hire and oversee a deep-clean service every other month.  I would prefer that to a maid who swats at the dust.

A maid.  Who wants to clean?

@Sooner  Geez, a butler! Great idea!  You made me think of Mr. French on Family Affair.  He was played by Sebastian Cabot.  I think he was more of a "gentlemen's gentleman" though.

I'd ask for a personal plumber/electrician/landscaper. I can cook and clean just fine.
