Absolutely. I've never actually seen my home (as in home planet) from afar like that. Only pictures. Never having seen the Earth from afar is sort of like never having really seen the outside of your house even though you live there.

In the future I bet travelers will have a sense of happiness and relief when they return from their travels and approach the Earth orbit. They'll see the beautiful marble we only see in pictures now and say "Ah, home again."
