Nope! I would become a medical doctor in the research field.

I would follow the same path again. I might have never met my husband if we had not been employed by the same company. I have a pension, relatively reasonably-priced health care, and a Bachelor's degree (company paid my tuition) all due to the choices of employment I've made in my life.

@proudlyfromNJ Oh my gosh, I'm so glad I'm not the only person interested in the body farm. I told my co-workers once I thought about donating my body for their research. They were mortified.

I imagine it would be quiet there.
Maybe I'll reconsider my own donation destination.

@CrazyKittyLvr2 I saw a show on tv about it. It was so interesting.

I always wanted a job I walked away from at the end of the day, and didn’t think about until hitting the time clock the next day. That worked well for me, no regrets.
I have never regretted walking away from an offer of a 4 year scholarship in my senior year. I absolutely did not want any part of books, classrooms, and teachers at that point, and don’t know if I would have been a focused college student.
As far as careers, I think I would’ve enjoyed a social work position where I could advocate for others, or a prosecuting attorney.

@San Antonio Gal ....that was my interest as well. I took the physical (oh what an experience that was)....I passed, was accepted, then the wait began....they waited months and in the mean time I chickened out...
I always wondered if it would have been a good choice for me.

I kind of fell into the legal thing. While doing real estate in a law office results in the buyers happy to get a home, and the sellers getting money for theirs, it wasn't all that rewarding.
My last few years I got roped into family law, divorce and custody. I didn't like it at all, too depressing and too much fighting. I can't express how happy I was to retire and not deal with all the negative things that went on.

I've always been fascinated with psychology & psychiatry.
Who'd know I'd spend almost 30 years as a CSR for dental & medical insurance?

No I would not.
I worked in the Property and Casualty insurance industry. I never intented for it to be a career, it was a job. Given a chance to go back, I would much rather work in a quilting shop, fabric shop or some sort of an arts & crafts shop.
