@hckynut  Yes, I was talking about figure skating.  My tv provider is comcast and this UHD channel appeard there.  I live in a high rise (about 600 apts) and our building has just negotiated with comcast for the upgrade (without cost) to HDTV and the various channels are also negotiated. 

I had been debating with myself if I should get a new 4K TV mostly because the sound on my TVs was pretty bad and you are correct, it also depended on which channel I watched.  HD has definitely improved the sound dramatically (don't know why though).  Perhaps I will invest in a 4K anyway for the living room.

You know how they really only show the best skaters here in the US.  One year around 2000 I visited my mother in Germany during the World Championships and believe it or not, over there they do show every single skater.  We watched from mid morning until well after midnight.  It really makes you appreciate how difficult this sport is and also how good the really good skaters are.  But it is just so amazing how much it means to the skaters who are not as skilled and how sincerely happy they are to be able to participate.

@lulu2 I did see my Jon this morning. Looking good!!  I'm looking forward to seeing the tour on the way back.  They'll be at MSG in April, if I remember correctly.  I'll see them at the end, when they make their way back............maybe to Giants Stadium????  I'm hopeful!!

@Lesa lol I hear ya about remembering. I wrote the dates on my calendar. Now, I just have to remember to look at the calendar. lol
