An email today from WCK:

WCK’s Relief Team has spread out across the coast, ready to respond as soon as it is safe to do so. We’ve secured a kitchen and have made hundreds of sandwiches to serve immediately after the storm passes. Additionally, we have built partnerships with restaurants ready to activate to help us scale quickly. Winds and rains are intensifying right now, so the WCK team is safely sheltering through the storm before we start cooking hot meals tomorrow.

Jose Andres is a true hero. 

Whenever and wherever he is needed, he goes.  An amazing organization that realizes the devastation and hopelessness that descends on those affected.

Jose is a rare breed, one who knows the true meaning of caring, compassion and giving back.

Bless all of those involved in this life saving effort.

Thank you for all you do.  I live in Florida, I am grafeful our county is only under a Tropical Storm Warning.  Your services will be very much appreciated, especially in the Naples, Fort Myers, Tampa and the surrounding areas.  It is terribly bad there right now, so be safe when you are down there.
