MJ has been going strong for the past 50 years, and it has been studied all along.  We don't have a nation of people from that era mortally wounded from its use.

@Noel7

Maybe you would like to have some of her patients come visit with you..................There was a news story about the increase in homelessness which they tracked to marijuana legaliation in Washington State.......

I've seen many patients over the years with psychosis and other forms of mental illness, none of which was traced back to MJ use, @Spurt

@Noel7

And my friend the nurse and the psychiatrists that work in the hospital HAVE SEEN IT!!!!  It impacts people differently....

A lot of the people I’ve known who smoked it over the years ARE psychiatrists.  Still practicing and going strong @Spurt

The psychiatrists are probably badly addicted to it thats why they've smoked it over the years....just like these college kids that are trying to get into the NFL they know they will be tested for marijuana which is illlegal in the NFL and they will risk losing that opportunity to make MILLIONS because they cant stand to be without it for even a short time...........if thats not a sign of addiction I dont know what is...............LOL

Re: Working while stoned: How will companies cope?

Noel,  you also said you knew the most amazing doctors who smoked pot (which would have been illegal) that were not impaired by its use. Of course you were unable to answer exactly why they smoked if not to get high. Nevertheless, it would be interesting to see if you would like to have a doctor who just smoked pot operate on you, or your daughter (since they wouldn't be impaired). Personally, I'd prefer one that's sober, but then, that's just me.

It’s about truth versus fiction @Spurt. Facts, not a petty remark claiming anyone who supports truth must smoke MJ.

I'm not even sure what the point is when saying there are doctors who partake. That would pretty much a given just as there are marriage couselors who cheat, cops who break the law, and on and on and on. Really, what difference does it make with regard to Spurt's comment?

Or that anyone who uses marijuana for any reason is a “pothead.” That kind of ignorance is willful, as is the childish attempt at an insult. Nothing else to say, so just insult. Par for the course.
