The word:  transparent.   So sick of that word and it's a lie.:

 

and "So" 1st sentence word!!!  Grrrr

 

 &  "gotta get me some of that"

I enthusiastically agree with "gift" being misued as a verb.

 

The one at the top of my list is furbaby. It's repulsive.

 

Couldn't we call them dogs or cats or pets?

I use no worries often, 

useful phrase, but more online than in person

Wow, after reading all these posts what are we suppose to say?  A lot of things listed are just normal day to day words.

Thanks to OP for this interesting thread.  I agree with many phrases already mentioned here. One I'd like to add that I find SO distasteful is when a woman's br@#sts are called "the girls".   Hate that one!

first time i heard the word mindful was a couple of years ago.....i was pulled over by a policeman for not wearing my seatbelt....he told me to be 'mindful' about wearing it!!  i still hate wearing a seatbelt!!
