Re: Words/Phrases You Don’t Want to Hear Anymore in 2022

In addition to all the previous,

Here's my Scrooge list-

"I'm fine".   (no, I'm not).

"enjoy"       (if I feel like it!)

I'm blessed  (has become a cliche)

Life is good  (no it isn't always at all)

"May memories give you comfort"- (I know this is a hearfelt sentiment but I often feel like saying I don't want memories! I want her, and him and all those gone back!!

Yes, @handygal2, thanks for this thread to help us all vent! Let it all out!

"If you walk the footsteps of a stranger, you'll learn things you never knew. Can you sing with all the voices of the mountains? can you paint with all the colors of the wind?"

"You got this."  Is that even proper grammar? 😀

2) Using the word "So" as a way to start a sentence. (I"m trying to train my daughter to drop this habit!)

this one gets me, there is a newsperson on CBS local here who used that all the time, just grinds my gears

@on the bay
Loving everyone letting it all out!
Yes, "blessings," "I'm blessed," "Have a blessed day," etc, have all lost their meaning from overuse.
And no more "thoughts and prayers" and "rest in power!"
And, please, if you live in California, stop telling me, "We need the rain!" Yes, I'm a native and I'm familiar with the drought!!

How many are left in each color.

And don't just put it into your cart.

1. It is what it is.

2. Know what I mean?
