@Winkk  Exactly. I guess it's best just not to speak. Use sign language. Many words and phrases change over time. Remember the 'horseless carriage'? We call it a car or automobile. I wonder why that's ok? I could go on with the words that have changed over time but that wouldn't be the purpose of this thread.

I guess I am in the minority, none of these phrases bother me, and several I use all the time🧐

None of these bother me either.  Just sayings or expressions that catch on.

 

The only thing that that bothers me is when people assign “she” or “he” to inanimate objects. I don’t even know if bother is the right word, it just sounds completely silly to me.
