I saw where Ronan tweeted on Father's Day: ""Happy Fathers Day....or for my house it is ""Happy Brother In Law Day"".

Seems like brilliant film makers tend to become perverts....
I've never heard David Lean, Billy Wilder, William Wyler, George Stevens, Stanley Kramer, Francis Ford Coppola, Francois Truffaut called "perverts". It's not a prerequisite and I wouldn't call Woody brilliant. he made a few mysogynistic films that were funny but he's no genius.

LOL! I see in my original above I wrote ""statue"" of limitations. Of course I meant ""statute"" I fixed it but I've already been quoted and so wanted to clarify that was a typo. Wonder what a statue of limitations would look like.

Carlotta: I went back and edited out the political portion of my post. You are right and I was wrong and so I took it out so as not to derail the thread. My apologies to the OP. In my attempt to be clever, I went over the line for THIS thread.

Court of Public Opinion can be harsh...sometimes worse than the actual Court of Law.

Yeah, I can think of lots of brilliant film makers that aren't pervs or pedos, and agree, Woody Allen is quirky but far from brilliant.
Steven Spielberg, Ron Howard, Martin Scorsese, Steven Soderbergh, Spike Lee, Quentin Tarantino, Kathryn Bigelow, David Cronenberg, Ang Lee, Sofia Coppola, David Lynch.... the list goes on of more worthy film makers than Woody.
Somehow I don't see "his" son (Frank's son) Ronan, having Woody on his new show for an interview anytime soon.

On 1/13/2014 beach-mom said:Wasn't Soon-Yi's father (adoptive) Andre Previn, who was married to Mia at the time? So why is the media always calling her "Mia's daughter"? She had a father too. Did he have a relationship with her - I mean a sort-of typical father-daughter relationship?
It sounds like Mia got custody. While Soon-Yi uses Previn as her surname, Andre has nothing to do with her.
"Soon-Yi was initially called "Soon-Yi Farrow Previn" being co-adopted by Mia Farrow, until later dropping the Farrow surname. In the aftermath of the scandal involving Soon-Yi and Mia Farrow's partner Woody Allen, Previn has been quoted as saying about Soon-Yi: "She does not exist.""
