Woody Allen is a genius and an artist. He deserves to have his body of works recognized. Whatever else has happened in his private life is mostly a matter of speculation and gossip, until as such time as the law becomes involved. What Mia has accused him of and had her daughter accuse him of is illegal. Why have there been no huge court proceedings? Mia Farrow made certain accusations about Frank Sinatra to the point where Frank publicly made the statement: "Mia should keep her filthy mouth shut." If I thought she had any credibility at all, I might take this seriously. She seems to have succeeded in poisoning her son's mind against his father. That's for sure. She certainly thought Woody was just fine when he was putting her in his movies. And wasn't Frank Sinatra married to Barbara Marx at the time Ronan was conceived on the opposite side of the country? Where was Andre Previn, the father of all these children she kept adopting? If they didn't live together, how is it that Woody, and not Andre, had so much access to the children? So many questions; so few answers.

She had a father too. Did he have a relationship with her - I mean a sort-of typical father-daughter relationship?
It sounds like Mia got custody. While Soon-Yi uses Previn as her surname, Andre has nothing to do with her.
"Soon-Yi was initially called "Soon-Yi Farrow Previn" being co-adopted by Mia Farrow, until later dropping the Farrow surname. In the aftermath of the scandal involving Soon-Yi and Mia Farrow's partner Woody Allen, Previn has been quoted as saying about Soon-Yi: "She does not exist.""
Wow - Thanks for the explanation! I wonder if Andre ever wanted anything to do with her, like when she was first adopted, or if she was just another child in Mia's household. If he didn't, and they were married, he's no better than the rest of this "family."

He should have gotten mental help, left the home-- whatever he could have done to stir clear of anything happening. BUT he chose to do what is considered sick. Poor Mia to have found this out.... I do not see how she could ever forgive him. I certainly could not! I am not sure what her relationship is with the adopted daughter today.
Soon-Yi was never Woody Allen's child. She was Mia Farrow's adopted daughter and he dated Mia Farrow. He never lived with Mia Farrow although they did have a relationship. He didn't date Soon-Yi until he and Mia parted ways.
As for Dylan, doctor's at the time (I believe both psychiatric and medical) found no proof of any molestation and said the story kept changing. The timing of the accusations was very suspect as it was when Mia and Woody were separating. The courts never took up the case. Sounds like a vindictive woman's revenge to me.
PS: Has anyone seen the photos of Rowan? Sure looks a lot more like Ole Blue Eyes than he does Woody.
On the contrary, he is the spitting image of his mother and his grandmother, Maureen O'Sullivan. It's probably best he doesn't look like Woody, who is certainly not a candidate for Sexiest Man Alive.

Didn't she meet her future husband when's he was 12? They started a relationship magically when she turned 19.....but that seems coincidental, yes?
Was he her defacto stepfather....oh and was there another girl age 7?
PS: I guess I missed his big award at the Golden Globes.

She found n*de pictures of Soon Yi in his drawer. And the child still maintains she was molested.

It puzzles me why people are defending Allen's behavior with Soon-Yi. As stated before I doubt Allen would have said anything about his relationship with Soon-Yi if Farrow hadn't found those n ude photos. He was caught red-handed and there was no way for him to deny it.

He was never convicted of a crime, but still, I can understand the hard feelings lingering because of his actions.

Once again, if the evidence is there, why hasn't there been an arrest and a trial? No one is defending any specific behavior. Some of us doubt that is hasn't been concocted by Farrow. When he goes to trial, then I'll have an opinion about said accusations.

Many, many, many child molest cases never go to court for a variety of reasons.

It's not uncommon because of the trauma for the child.
How old was Soon Yi at the time the photos were shot? 15?
