His reputation ruined. No place for him to hide. Retribution may be slow. In the court of public opinion! He's as good as dead.

I never liked Woody Allen but another of the children has spoken about this. His name is Moses.

I loved his work and still do.

@Pruett  I was aware of Moses. It isn't unusual for some members of a dysfunctional family to be in denial. It all comes down to who you believe, and I don't believe Mia Farrow would "coach" her daughter to say she was molested. JMO

I remember him shrugging off the implications of his seduction of what amounted to his older "step-daughter",  Soon-yi.  I agree that he was her father figure-- although not married to her mother Mia, she was his often live-in romantic partner.  He enacted the father role with her children.

He smarmily said at the time, in what I suppose he thought was a justification for his creepy acts---- "The heart wants what it wants".   Gack.   if he were a character in one of his own films, would he not mock and parody such repugnant solipsism and self-deception?

He revealed his character.

Roman Polanski had talent.  The brilliant 70's film noir "Chinatown" demonstrates that.  But movie craftsmen like Allen and Polanski have forefeited a good chunk of their audiences with their abusive exploitation of children, cravenly applauding actresses like Meryl Streep notwithstanding.

Moses has changed his tune. He used to vehemently say Woody abused Dylan when he was younger. He also said Woody threatened to smash his teeth down his throat....

@cherry

I do not go out to any movies, and the ones I do watch are not random ones that "just happen to be on" when I turn on our TV set. They are either ones I specifically DVR, or those I choose to watch free via Amazon Prime.

Woody Allen? Never was a fan even before any of his "secret" activities were uncovered. While I do like comedy, he never fit my versions of funny.

My favorite WA film is Radio Days.  I stopped going to them after all of the abuse charges surfaced....I will not support people like him financially, nor  actors who support pedophiles, like Meryl Streep..My conscience won't permit me to @hckynut
