Woodstock

It is hard to believe, but 43 years ago this weekend, 500,000 people converged on Max Yasgur's 600 acre dairy farm in Bethel, NY, for a 3 day music event forever known as Woodstock. Wow, 43 years...seriously?????? Where does the time go????

Icons of the 1960's Joan Baez, Bob Dylan, Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix and many others performed.

I recall doing everything I could to convince my parents that it was a good thing for my friends and I to go. Since I was way too young, that idea went down in a hurry. I have been watching a show on cable with lots of footage shot during the weekend.

I am guessing that those that were a part of that event came away with some memories.
