I have heard her say that her mother used a wooden spoon on her, and that she perceives this as abuse.
I guess if you chase your child around the house beating him with a wooden spoon, it would be abuse.
I have 2 friends who don't know each other, are 10 years apart in age, one has 3 children, and the other has 6 children.
They have both utililized the wooden spoon method. They each would let their kids know the wooden spoon would be in their purse (and showed them), and if they acted up, say in the store, it would come out. They would be warned, then the spoon used once.
Poor Jodi Arias. I am just tired of hearing about her "abuse."
