is for the people who post here in the QVC forums ?

Before somebody snarks why do you care,  just interested in how

people found the boards and what age makes up the majority of the

people who are interested enough to take the time to post frequently.

@SharkE .  Age 71 here. Found QVC and the forums in I think 1991 when the company I worked for went out of business and I was out of work for a few years.

Forums were really different back then. They were called Shop Talk I think.

I’ve been with QVC since the beginning and I still remember my 8 digit membership number.

For several years I followed the blogs but until a couple or three years ago accidentally stumbled into the forums. The rest is history.

I am 65 and retired as is DH.

No snark intended but when asking for our ages, why not start with giving your own age, @SharkE ?

It seems most posters are mature ladies around retirement age, as am I.

Definitely older. I like messageboard formats, that's what I used forever until FB groups/social media took over.

@SharkE   No snark here.  I cannot imagine why a person would feel the need to do so regarding such an innocuous question.

I've been here 12 years (disregard the date in my nic) and the average has always seemed to be 50+.  We've have some younger posters but not too many.

I think it's fairly easy to determine the approx. ages of posters-they post about going on SS/Medicare; they post about grandchildren; they post about their upcoming wedding anniversaries and I don't think I've even seen a 5 or 10 year anniversary or they post about being in a career/job for 25-40 years or so; they post about decades of friendships or respond to threads about nostalgia (clothes, etc.)

I am only referring to this forum, however.
