I suppose Harry and Meghan couldn't have accepted any wedding gifts either?

I'm sure they will! Too cute!
Those fall under the "Official Gifts' category:
Gifts are defined as 'official when received during an official engagement or duty or in connection with the official role or duties of a Member of the Royal Family'.
Some of the gifts the Duke and Duchess have received during their 'walkabouts' may well fall into this category.

"Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are reportedly returning $9.3 million (£7 million) in wedding gifts because palace aides want to prevent people and companies from using the newlywed Duke and Duchess of Sussex for publicity, The Express reports.
The reason bubbles down to royal protocol. According to official guidelines, "The fundamental principle governing the acceptance of gifts by Members of The Royal Family is that no gifts, including hospitality or services, should be accepted which would, or might appear to, place the Member of The Royal Family under any obligation to the donor."
Weeks before their wedding, the Duke and Duchess announced the one wedding gift they did request was a donation to one of seven charities of their choice: CHIVA, Crisis, Myna Mahalia Foundation, Scotty's Little Soldiers, StreetGames, Surfers Against Sewage, and The Wilderness Foundation UK."
Also:
"The elaborate flowers that decorated St. George's Chapel for Meghan and Prince Harry’s 2018 royal wedding have found a touching second home at St. Joseph’s Hospice in London.
The hospital announced that it got a “very special delivery” of some world famous blooms on Sunday.
“A big thank you to Harry and Meghan and florist Philippa Craddock,” St. Joseph’s wrote in a thank you Facebook post. “Our hospice smells and looks gorgeous. Such a lovely gesture.”

The royals are supported by the taxpayers, why anyone would want to give them gifts is beyond me. Give to organizations such as the Salvation Army, Red Cross, etc. The royals do not want the gifts.

I'm sure some poor child could make good use of those boots!
But how do you choose 'the' one child to "make good use of those boots", since there's only one pair and so many children who are deserving?

I confess I never wondered or worried about what becomes of the gifts they receive. lol
