Re: Won't candles being delivered this time of year in the heat come melted?

I'm pretty sure UPS trucks are air conditioned or cooled in some way since they deliver so many food items.  Also I think it takes an awful lot of heat to melt a wax candle.  We have had a string of high 90 days and I have candles in my living room window.  They haven't melted.

maybe in the hotter months online retailers should pack candles the same way they do frozen food products, say dry ice and/or .gel packs. more money for them? of course, but doesn' returned items costs them money?

throw in ticked off customers, no new business would take a chance on losing customers, so why do established companies not do the same?
