I went to a restroom in Cancun where someone sat in a lawn chair and sold you a portion of toilet paper before you waited in line. Strange experience.

I never wash my hands in a public bathroom. 

I always have little packets of antibacterial Hand Wipes in my purse ... super convenient.  

You can get about 20 for a buck at the dollar store.   What's not to like about that?

The same in some places in Europe and Asia.  Some places charged to use the restroom too.

In Asia...China, Vietnam, Cambodia, and Thailand, many restrooms did not supply toilet tissue at all and there was no one selling any at the door.  You had to bring your own.  

Oh, you cannot flush tissue either.  You put it in a small wicker basket.  Old world plumbing cannot handle paper.

We have those same signs that have been posted in the building that I work in for employees  "Look behind you, be considerate of others, (eye roll) do you seriously have to be told this. I always think to myself do people do this at home. 

The only good thing about this one particular set of bathrooms is that, since certain parts of the building are also open to the public, they clean this  set of stalls at least three times a day. 

I forgot to add that I don't understand those who are complaining about the topic. Is the subject gross, yes, but before I opened this thread I knew by the header what it would be about.

I always wonder about restroom stalls where the hook has been taken off the door.  I end up with my handbag around my neck.

I would have to be close to exploding to go to a public restroom.

We had a Hospitality Inn near the mall and if I needed to use the potty very badly I would sneak in (We'd stayed there and eaten there so I knew my way around)  and use their rest room. SOOOOO clean, and always empty. I was sad when they left, lol.
