Looks like she was enjoying herself up there.

I heard it on the car radio on our way home.  Honestly, I think they should have left her p their and they shouldn't have given her any publicity.  They gave her what she wanted and that just encouraged others to do cockmamie stuff like that.

I saw that on the news.  It's terrible that one person has spoiled seeing the statue.  They said some people have been waiting for a long time to get to see it and now this.

Sign of the times.  People are so inconsiderate of others.

There is a lot of horrific to protest these days.  If she survives, she'll be fined and probably receive donations to cover it.

Probably something like,

-unlawfully demonstrating without permit

-resisting arrest or failure to obey a peace officer

and maybe

-vandalism over a certain amount if there was anything damaged

The Statue of Liberty is consider public domain under the unbrella

of National Park Services, so the vandalism might play in to be

more impact than street protests. 

All in all...someone will probably post bond for her and 

the charges might be dropped depending on the sensitivity 

of what’s being protested.  A lot of things will play into the

judge’s decision.

Charges should not be dropped no matter what her reason for causing this disturbance.
