Woman banned for life from Royal Caribbean cruises.

Seems she was seen by another passenger as she climbed on top of a balcony railing to take a selfie.  He took a picture of her and alerted the staff.

They tracked her down, put her off the ship at the next port and banned her for life.

Good for them.  If she had died her family probably would have sued.

Social media has turned some people into blooming idiots.  Royal Carribbean did the right thing, they had to protect themselves from bad press and and a lawsuit.

It would be wise for other cruise lines to find out her ID and do the same.

I say this exact saying soooooooo often.

The thought of being up that high over the ocean behind the railing gives me the vertigo.  If someone had a gun to my head I wouldn't climb on top.

I doubt they could ban her for something she didn't do on their ships. My guess is it wouldn't be legal.

Some people just don't have any sense.  They are desperate for that 15 minutes of fame.  Stupidity is running rampant in this age of social media.
