At first I thought the article was going to be about an elderly person, but they're guessing that the poor woman would be 49 today. She apparently did a lot of traveling to Germany. I can't imagine someone being so isolated. How sad.

DH and I were talking about this this morning. It's so tragic that no one missed her. The only reason they even found her now is the fact that her money ran out. ![]()

Yep. That's exactly what I told DH--the money. She had the auto-pays, but it wasn't until the house was foreclosed and the bank sent someone to make a major repair that she was found.

I read that she was in the back seat and that her key was partially in the ignition. Why would she be in the back seat? Strange.

This is sad.
I know most of my neighbors. I certainly would know if they were going out of town...we look out for each other (even though we all have alarm systems too!).
People spend to much time interacting with their phones, not enough time with other human beings!

You would think people from her job would've been curious as to why she just stopped showing up to work. That's really sad.
Her being in the back seat with the key partially in the ignition is also curious.

I saw this in the paper, too. It said the mail wasn't piling up (where did it go?) and the lawn was cut. The landscaper was on auto-pay, too? Hard to imagine no family, friends or neighbors ever looked for her. Very strange.

Does anyone know where or for whom she worked? Maybe she was self employed having to do with all the traveling she did.
I wonder if an autopsy will be abel to determine her cause of death after all this time. Could it have been suicide, carbon monoxide poisoning, was her car's fuel tank empty?

So sad.
