Hello friends,

I'm going to repeat some info. that I posted in another thread in order to help others find their way to the new group at Delphi.

Bear with me if you know some of this already.

I've been with Delphi for a long time, so I will do my best to help you try and navigate your way there/around there.

When you're at Delphi and you've set up your account info:

Put Wisteria Lane in the search bar there.

It should then take you to the group.

When you're at the group, look at your left-hand list of topics on the left-hand side bar on the left side of your screen.

You should see a topic list of "all messages" or something like that.

Click on that and then you'll see one of the newer topics listed there for QVC Refugees.

Any little blue link that you see on that side bar there, you can click on it and you'll get a list of active topics.

It takes some getting used to to navigating over there. You just kind of have to literally click on everything and poke around there to find you way around.

You can set forums there as your (forum) favorites so that you can just click on them to go back to them.

I hadn't been there in awhile so I can't remember how I set them up like that I admit to embarassingly so, but they do have a Help link in the upper-right hand corner of your screen that you can check out once you get your account set up there. Smiley Embarassed

To change your username, you can do that under your My Preferences tab there.

A Basic Delphi membership is free. You can pay for other types of memberships to avoid the ads that you see in between the posting boxes.

You can add an avatar from the choices that Delphi offers, or one from your own computer.

To choose or change an avatar, just click on the picture in your My Preferences section where the avatar would go, and it will bring up that option for you, where you can choose your own avatar or choose one from Delphi.

Answering to someone's post is a bit different there.

If you want to answer someone specifically, you literally have to go back to the box that they posted in, and click on the "Reply" box that is directly underneath their post box. You'll be replying to them directly then.

if you just reply to the last person that commented on a thread, your reply will be posted to that person only.

I think that there is a reply option where you can post to the whole group, For that reply option you have to choose "all."

Also, the forums are moderated so all posts are held back until a moderator can review them due to the avoidance of spam.

For this forum though, the moderator is allowing immediate posting for us from the Q, as long as you follow her directions. I think she said you can post but then you had to log out and then log in again for your first message to be seen.

@LavernLuvsShoes @shoesnbags About this Wisteria Lane option, a key question is whether there is just one mass thread devoted to QVC refugees or whether there will be the capacity to create categories like we have here? I would think one general thread is going to get cumbersome.

Do they have access to your personal information (name address, credit card info?)

I realize you may not know any of the answers to my question, I just don't want to go into something blindly.

Yeah, I won't stick with it if there's just one general thread. That just wouldn't work. We all have different interests and while they sometimes overlap, we each need our own space for our own obsessions (uh, interests). I'm hoping to learn more about this as a bit more time passes. It's all new to me - but I really would like a way to stay connected to my QVC friends.

It's a free website, so there's no credit card involved. I just registered and only gave my name and email addy. The Wisteria Lane forum is moderated by a lady named "Bunny."

@Lucky Charm I joined with my email and a password. No address, phone number or credit card was required. I need to learn how to post there, though. I did not see categories or separate topics for QVC Refugees?🤔 My nic was already taken so I signed in with Trinityll instead of 11.
