My brother's had a Lone Ranger and Tonto dolls (action figures for the manly) One of their friends looked like the Tonto doll and when my kids played with them years later they called the doll Ronnie.

My son never had an acutal doll, but had so many stuffed animals and loved them, probably longer than most kids. He had a Buzz and Woody (close to dolls I guess) and was very fond of them as well.
He had a play vacuum cleaner he was rather attached to for sometime while a toddler, and a grocery cart and a play kitchen that we got from my brother when his kids were through with it, that he loved too.
Didn't seem to compromise his masculinity. He's all man, through and through, a machinist, hunter, car fanatic, competitive shooter, and any other 'man' based thing you can think of.
One of his best girlfriends builds her own trucks and does mechanical and body work, hunts and rides quads. But she still puts on a dress and likes girly things too.
