I've been letting his thread cook for a day/2 before I 'weighed' in.
Personally?
I think we're burying the lead.
It's not the weighing a zillion times a day which is...'unusual',
it's the thought of your body su.cking up a pound of calories
out of thin air within an hour's time which is...'unusual'.
******************************
It doesn't have to be calories, it could be water weight or a fluctuating scale.
I know that.
You know that.
But the OP, from the wording of the original message, probably doesn't...hence the 'starve' comments & incessant weighing.

No such thing as a simple question

It was a simple question, re-interpreted in so many creative ways.
LOL!!!

@Shopster3I forgot to mention congrats on your weight loss! It isn't easy that's for sure. As someone who has always weighed themselves daily, I know how hard it is to see even the slightest deviation from the day before or the same day for that matter. When I am weighed in at the doctor's office, I usually wear light weight clothing, no watch or jewelry. So I know what it is to be really hyper about weight.

Thank you Trinity.
It took me a long time to fully understand why I was eating myself into obesity.
January, a month before my birthday the light bulb went off, and I finally gave myself permission to be healthy.
It's between me and my God, no one else needs to know. I know. And for the first time in my life I feel free. I never understood before but I do now. Its no one else's responsibility. I was the only one who could finally take off the chains of self destruction.
If anyone wants to read anything into it, be my guest.
I know that's all that matters.

We have two scales right in front of the refrigerator.
I get on 1 and if I don't like that number I get on the other one for a second opinion!

This is why I don't believe in stepping on the scales very often. Simply the way you are standing on them will make the numbers come up different.
I think to have a healthy relationship with one's weight, it shouldn't be take more than once a week, and even that is way too frequent when trying to loose or maintain weight. Stressing over one pound up and two pounds down keeps people from true success in weight loss/maintenance.
If I am on a weight loss program, I don't weight more than once a month at the most. When I see the progress, it is real progress, and not that one/two pound agony.

I rarely weigh myself. Much more indicative to me of my body being at it's best composition is how my clothes fit, pants in particular.
Waistbands don't lie.
And jeans don't shrink that much in the dryer.
