Wow!  I didn't even get online until 1999.   I'm pretty sure I didn't even know about the internet in 1987.  The first I remember about the internet was when my husband had one of those AOL "free" CDs, in the mid-late 90s, and he put it in his desktop computer and told me about it.  He said 'this internet is pretty cool'.  I said 'I'm not interested'.    HA!

I had twice as many posts about 10 years ago.  Q deleted and started over when they got a new system upgrade.  There's posters who had theirs deleted with a lot more posts than I had.

I think that was a typo and she meant 1997. It wouldn't have been 87. 
But even 97 a very long time. How sad, it must feel like the end of an era.

I've been on the boards since 2004. There was a period when they wiped out a lot of our post numbers, so it showed much less that what was there before. They've completely redone these boards a couple of times that I recall. Anyone remember when the HSN boards completely shut down around 2006 or so?

It was a Q board.  I remember the general knowledge forum was called something like "Current Events and World Views".
