Will contact information transfer from tracfone to tracfone?

My husband uses a tracfone . I bought him a new one and before I activate the new one, I wanted to be sure his contact information is not lost. Does it transfer automatically? And if not, how do you do it? Thanks.

Here's some info from the Tracfone website. Its better to do things from the website than call their CS........

@pggoody - If you look at item E229734, you'll see there's a video provided "how to transfer your data".

I'll try to provide the link here. (Look at the icons under the main video; it's the one in the middle.) I found it super easy and it lets you transfer everything you want (and nothing you don't). All my contacts, photos, etc. transferred super fast.
