Being an optimist, I have a different view. I see it this way! If everyone is following the guidelines set forth, testing to me isn't that critical. Unless one "truly has the symptoms", testing does nothing more than give statistical information. While that is good, the majority of our population does not need the test.

I also do not take your position on "more masses get sick and desperate". Every day the "cure rate" for those infected goes up, and the % of those getting better are either stable or going down. There are several promising "interventions" that are proving positive for many of those with the virus, which I see only getting better.

I have always chosen optimism because to me pessimistic views can cause unnecessary stress, and even panic and fear. Optimism for me has always been my best friend during the toughest of times.

Stay safe and well,

Re: Will We Feel Different When?

Of course the death of many will affect us all in one way or another.  Hopefully it will make us better and stronger than we were before.  While I am concerned, I can't say that I am living in fear. So many think we are masters of our own fate. I don't believe that.
