@Zaimee , just between you and me, I wore a pair of white capris last week too. I have a steadfast rule of no white after Labor Day but oh my gosh it was so hot. It was like Autumn hadn't even been invented yet much less here.

It's so ingrained in me not to wear white pants after Labor Day that I just can't do it. Even here. Which is silly I know. I mean the northern tourists come down all winter sporting their tropical clothes, white pants, shorts etc. We give them a pass because they are desperate to escape the blizzards and negative wind chills. I get it. 😉

Here in the Northeast it's going up to almost 80 tomorrow!!

@haddon9 Where are you in the northeast where it's that warm?  We haven't had anything at least for a couple of weeks over 73 degrees.   Forecast for us in New England area is 60's for highs and 40's at night.  Just curious.

@monicakm  Ha ha ha ha....yes girl, that would be me!  Find me on a rock in the sun any day...that would be after I slithered into the water for a cool down 🦎

We had had a warm fall. It's been beautiful for a week, and the fifteen day forecast looks great! Normally I'd have the planters cleaned out, but with no hard frost, things are still growing here in Wisconsin.

I bet we're the only two here that still abide by this decades old dress code Smiley Happy  I Iike tradition and the kinder, gentler era of times gone by.  I wish I had been an adult in the 50s and 60s

Was that you slitering around (IN) my house the other day?  We get tiny little lizards in the house but the other day one nearly caused another heart attack. I picked a basket up to clean under it.  It was on my husband's vanity.  A larger, but still small, lizard ran out from under it and well, I about passed out at that point so I'm not sure where he was headed or went before landing at my feet.  I finally caught it with a glass which resulted in him losing part of his tail.  The things can climb!  Now I have to worry about one crawling in bed with me.  DH lets them go outside.  He's much nicer than me.

We are supposed to be "cooling" down in the 80s starting tomorrow but the 10 day forecasts has been changing multiple times a day for 3 weeks. I think all the poor weather models and forecasters are as confused as the rest of us.
