I hear ya! We have broken all-time records this year. di
@Desertdi. You probably get the prize as I've heard it's been 110° in Phoenix. It's a chilly 88° in Albuquerque today. At least it's been in 50s at night.
We have been 10 to 15 degrees OVER the "average" every day in October. There has NEVER been anything like it. And, of course, NO RAIN. Oh yeah...and the SMOG and pollen. Trees haven't dropped their leaves, and the birds seem "confused". (So am I). di

Winter? We haven't even broached fall yet. Apparently, we'll get a taste next week. I just wish we would get some regular rain again so I don't have to water so much.

DH wanted to check out property in Florida and I asked him who he was taking with him?? (LOL) I meant it.
@LindaSal I have to agree... I can not deal with the heat. Many years ago I temporarily moved to Florida to help out with my parents. After 1 year, I finally got back to Pa. It was such a relief to come back to the four seasons...especially Fall. I could never live in a hot climate.

yeah I live in Florida now. It's been 88-90 degrees lately but dew points of 79 and humidity 79%. The air feels wet. Just going to the mailbox does me in. After a typical summer here, steamy and in mid nineties every day, I would welcome a respite. Even just a few degrees would help. Still wouldn't go back to the Michigan winters though

I'm in Northeast Texas. The humidity has been very low and we've had no rain so fire chances are high. My husband and I were sitting on the patio earlier today and even though it was 90° it was somewhat bearable because of the humidity. I asked Google what the humidity was and she said 29%. I think that's a record.

I hope not ever! It's still warm here in SE MD. 78 today with 87% humidity. I'm thrilled. Few more days of warm and humid, then a few cool days sadly, then in high 70s again.
The longer it stays warm the shorter time I have to deal with dreaded fall and winter.

It is 8:23 pm and the temperature is mostly cloudy and 83 degrees but feels like 91 with 78% humidity.
Enjoy your Fall but I'm still wearing white capri pants!
South Florida.
